Treasurer's Report was read and accepted.
Rodney,
Trails Administrator: Hours have been logged for Grant & Aid
Brandon
Merrill, Trail Master: Grooming is in full swing. The tractors have been repaired,
lights are working, though some hydraulic issues are not resolved. Anyone
wishing to become a new operator needs to have training. Please
call Brandon to set-up a time and if your are already an operator, call to
tell him your availabilty.
The trail to Lake Horace is open, though it is
only open for a sinlge wide sled. The ice storm damage was so severe
that we have suspended trail cutting and will address this area in the off
season. Members have worked tirelessly to open up all the other trails. Let's
enjoy the rest of the Winter and go riding.
Trail signs and junction signs are
working. Someone operating an ATV has been tearing up the
trails.Should you be out grooming or riding and see this happening we
recommend that you copy the registration number down and call Fish & Game
to report.
Let Fish & Game address the issue with the
operator as they are trained to handle this situation.

WWW Club Trip :
Please see website for Trip photos as this happened
last weekend.
Danny,
Hill climb Chairperson: Promotional video is on the website, Pat's Peaks, and on YouTube. On line registrations (Pat's Peak website )
have started. Advertisements will start, both in print and radio
spots. Sponsors are starting to get very interested and meetings are being
booked. While we are hoping that a large manufacture will step up and
come, we are not a "proven event". Local dealers have made
commitments to come. EMT's and Snow Patrol will be on-site. The event permit will be purchased and we
are ramping up to handle our end of the event. Please call Danny J. (
384-3910) as there are alot of slots to fill, both on the day of the event
and in the 5 days leading up to it. 2000 ft of snowfencing will have to be
installed, haybales put at specific spots, caution tape for no access to
sensitive areas....... yes, lot's of little things that will make this event a
success. So, please plan on giving us a hand and we'll have a good time too.
