Trail Maintenance Report

 

 

WORK PARTY THIS UPCOMING SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6TH:

Thanks to all of those who have helped with trail maintenance thus far, we have got a lot accomplished.  We are planning on meeting on Wildwood Road and cutting up to Tobey Hill on Sunday December 6th at 7:30 AM.  If enough people show up there may be few extra projects we can do but we need to try to finish cutting.

 

UPCOMING PROJECTS:

·      Cutting back of brush on trails in various areas

·      Various signing of trails to be completed

 

COMPLETED PROJECTS:

·      Cutting and removal  of many downed trees on the property between the Hodgdon Road crossing and All Seasons Campground

·      Construction and installation of temporary bridge to be installed adjacent to beaver damn near Hodgdon road crossing

·      Re-decking of a bridge maintained by the club on the “Wounded Knee” trail

·      New trail to Dimitri’s Pizza has been cut, excavation work has now been completed as well.

·      Widening of the bridge at the base of Mt. William heading towards Bolton Fields

·      New culvert installed on Davis property

·      New gate installed on Davis property

·      Signing of fields on Brown’s property

·      Signing of new trail to Dimitri’s pizza

·      GPS mapping of new trail to Dimitri’s pizza

·      Signing of Bolton field

·      Marking and GPS mapping of new trail on Bolton property connecting Mountain and Valley trail

·      Installation of gate near Barnard Hill Road crossing

·      Signing of fields adjacent to Wounded Knee/Sugar Hill Road crossing
