Entering classes:

 

 

A racer may enter any snowmobile Hillclimb/Drag race class only once. 

A sled may be entered into any one race class only once. 

A sled may be entered into an unlimited number of race classes.

Sleds can step up to any higher CC class including MOD or open.

If a sled is deemed to be a MOD – it must only enter MOD or open classes 

A sled may enter different classes with different riders or the same rider.

 

 

AGE:

 

All snowmobile Hillclimb and Drag racers under 18 wishing to race MUST be with an adult. 

There is no age limit for the fan cooled race classes. 

Riders 12 and under are restricted to fan cooled race classes only. 

Riders  under 16 must ride a 600 Liquid cooled snowmobile or smaller.

 

Sled is a MOD or a Vintage Outlaw if:

 

 

A sled with an aftermarket pipe is a MOD sled.

A Sled running race fuel will be considered a MOD sled. 

Sleds with a stock Pipe and an aftermarket can, will be allowed to race in the stock classes.

Sleds racing with performance enhancing fuel additives or pressurized fuel cells will run mod or open classes. (N2O) - This means that mod sleds ARE allowed to use nitrous

If You have added a turbo charger your sled will be considered a MOD.

If you register as stock and get caught in tech with a mod sled after registering as stock, you may run, but your times will not count, you will be listed as a DQ.

This (all above) will be at the discretion of the race director.

 

 

 

 

 

Other - Saftey:

 

All racing sleds will need to go through Snowmobile Hill Climb/Drag Race tech except Vintage oval racers.

Absolutely NO heating of Nitrous bottles with torches anywhere on premises. This includes inside trailers. If this rule is broken you will be asked to leave. Nitrous Bottles must be attached securely to your sled.

Absolutely NO alcohol allowed in racing pits. No racer shall consume alcohol prior to operating their snowmobile. If this rule is broken you will be asked to leave.

If you fail to submit to a tech prior to or after the race or if you fail tech, you will be listed as a DQ.

While being escorted down the hill – no passing – single file please.

No free riding anywhere.

No testing. 

 

Tether must be attached to a person when sled is running (if sled has a tether).

 

 

Eye protection must be worn.

Helmets must be worn while any sled is in motion - this includes loading and unloading and the parking lots.

Racer requirements:

All Racers must have the following:

 

1. Snell approved helmet with eye protection.
2. Gloves
3. Boots
4. Full-length coat
5. Pants
6. Chest protector is recommended
7. Helmet must be worn if sled is moving - This includes loading and unloading
8. Tether must be attached to a person when sled is running (if sled has a tether)

 

 

 

 

 

Snowmobile requirements

All race sleds must meet following requirements:

 

1) Full loop skis
2. Full snow flap
3. Working kill switch
4. No broken windshields – Must be complete or removed
5. Operating brake
6. Overall safe condition
7. All factory belt guards must be in place

8. All full Mod sleds must have an ISR type Clutch guard in place – Vintage mods included

9. Tether must be attached to a person when sled is running (if sled has a tether)

 

 

 

 

 
 
There will be absolutely no alcohol allowed in racing pits. No Racer shall consume alcohol prior to operating their snowmobile. Violators will be escorted off of premises immediately. Please put your sled on/in your trailer prior to the award ceremony.
